Depending upon their field of deployment, pharmaceutical raw materials are directly consumed in the form of natural resources, or are used as starting materials for further processing stages at the production level.

Within the pharmaceutical field there are a great many pharmaceutical substances of biological or organic origin. Plants have been used as drugs for thousands of years. Even today, approximately half of all pharmaceutical substances are of botanical origin. In order to achieve the best possible manufacturing result, botanical material which is used for medical purposes should derive from controlled sources of cultivation and must be of the highest-possible pharmaceutical quality.

A range of rigorous controls and corresponding measures accompany the raw materials from the production stage to the point when they leave the manufacturing facility. This means we are also able to guarantee the purity and the consistent quality of our products throughout the entire production process. With a range of over 3,000 raw materials, we are the market leader when it comes to trading in high-quality pharmaceutical raw materials for pharmacies and drug stores. By the same token, branded products such as OLBAS® or the Original Bach Flowers likewise either derive from our company or are exclusively marketed by us.

A fast-growing sphere of expertise is production and packaging on behalf of third-party companies. About half of this work entails chemical substances, while natural substances account for the other half. The ratio between in-house preparations and trading products is similar. Around 130 qualified employees work to realise the wishes of our customers.
