Corporate history
The history of the company Hänseler AG begins in the year 1960 with Edwin Hänseler, who built up a flourishing business manufacturing pharmaceutical preparations. It was on this basis that the company Hänseler AG was founded in 1975 in Herisau, Switzerland. The company Hänseler GmbH in Constance, Germany, followed just one year later. In 1981 the Basel-based company DOMA AG acquired both companies of the Hänseler Group. A number of further acquisitions followed. Some years later, however, both corporate groups were bought back by the holding company. Hänseler AG celebrated its 25th anniversary in the year 2000. The company launched a substantial new construction programme and expansion project costing CHF 11 million. 6 years later, the building work was completed with an “open day”. At the same time, a new comprehensive ERP solution was launched.
Today, Hänseler AG has some 135 employees. These employees personally make around 4200 customer contacts, and we perform approx. 600 deliveries per day.
